If you are an Authorised person, and you require details of a microchip, you can contact us on 0800 023 9384, alternatively, you can sign up for a Welfare Account, by clicking HERE
Having a Welfare Account with us means that you can search for Microchip Numbers that are registered within our system and see the ownership information and the history of the Microchip.
In addition to the Microchip Lookup Tool, you can also notify us that you have taken any pets into your care in the event they have been found as a stray or have been abandoned.

Once you have filled in all of the relevant details, and provided the requested documents, one of our team will call you to verify the information and activate the account.
Once your account is live, you will be able to search microchip numbers and obtain the information held on who is the current registered owner of the dog.
Microchip Lookup Tool
Once your account has been created, you will be given access to our Microchip Lookup tool which will look similar to the one below.
To check ownership Details, please enter the 15-digit Microchip Number
Once you have searched for a chip number you will see the Ownership Information subject to us holding their data. We will also provide you with details of the Implanter/Breeder should you want to make further inquiries. Our system requires you to leave a note on the search record on the reasons why you conducted a search. This is for GDPR purposes and to ensure the Lookup tool is not being abused.
