How do I use the system?

Please head to https://animaldata.org.uk/login or CLICK HERE

Click Manage Chips HERE and click the option REGISTER

Complete the below form for your breeder/customer

Option 1 - Customer - We define a customer as someone who has bought a per from a breeder and has not bread the animal themselves

Option 2 - Breeder - We define a breeder by anybody who has bred a bitch that has whelped a litter

Enter the litter details and select the microchip number form the drop-down box, or click "Other" to manually enter this.

If you need to add multiple implanted microchips, please click on the GREEN + sign which will allow more fields to show

As you can see from the below example, we have implanted multiple chips for a breeder. We have clicked the GREEN + sign to enter more than one microchipped animal at once.

Note: You MUST obtain an email & telephone number for your breeder/customer. If you enter an incorrect email address or mobile number the system will not allow you to continue with the registration, as we validate all details up on submission to check the email is valid and the contact number is live. 

Once you have registered the details successfully, the recent implants will show in your "Manage Chips" reports and welcome emails will have gone out to your customer/breeder

From your manage chips section, you can edit the details in the event you have made a mistake and once you have ammended any errors, new welcome emails wil be sent to your breeder/customer.

If you have registered chips for a breeder, they will receive an email with a temporary password for their account asking them to log in and confirm the details.

You MUST tell your breeders that they have a legal requirement to ensure the details in their account are accurate and up to date. They are also required by law to remove the microchip from their name once they have sold the animal to a new keeper.

Once your breeder logs into their account, they will see the recent registrations that you have done and any previous ones they may have had.

From here they can remove the microchip out of their name in the event they have sold the pet by clicking on the green arrow action button.

The only information they require is the new keeper, name, Email & contact number. Again, all details have to be accurate to complete the registration

As soon as the details are provided this will reflect in their account, and also in your own account.

Once the breeder has sold the pet, the status will change on their reports to "SOLD". From here, the pet owner will recieve an email inviting them to complete their registration by visting our website.
